Information You Provide

You may provide information when you create or manage an account (where applicable), contact us for support, submit feedback, participate in activities, use text or voice conversational features, or otherwise interact with the App.

• Name
• Email address
• Username or account information
• Messages, questions, or feedback submitted through the App
• Other information you voluntarily provide

QR Code and Product Interaction Information

When you scan a CUBIC QR Code, CUBICVIEWER may process information contained in or associated with that QR Code in order to identify and display the relevant product experience.

• QR Code identifiers
• Product or digital twin identifiers
• Product information and experiences opened or viewed
• Products added for comparison
• Features used and interaction timestamps

Camera Access

CUBICVIEWER may request camera access to scan CUBIC QR Codes, display digital twins in augmented reality, and detect physical surfaces or environments required for AR experiences. You can manage camera permission through your device settings.

Microphone Access

If you use voice interaction features, CUBICVIEWER may request microphone access. Audio may be processed to convert speech into text, understand your request, and provide a response. Microphone access is not required for features that do not use voice input.

AR and Device Sensor Information

To enable augmented reality experiences, CUBICVIEWER may use information generated by supported AR functions and device sensors to detect surfaces, estimate position and orientation, place digital objects, and maintain their scale and position.

Information Collected Automatically

Certain technical information may be collected automatically, including IP address, device type, operating system, App version, device language, country or general geographic region, access date and time, usage information, diagnostics, errors, crashes, and performance information.

Push Notifications

CUBICVIEWER may request permission to send notifications related to App features, product experiences, important service information, updates, or account-related information. You may disable notifications in your device settings.

How We Use Information

We may use information collected through CUBICVIEWER to:

• Provide and operate the App
• Scan and process CUBIC QR Codes
• Retrieve and display the appropriate product digital twin
• Enable augmented reality experiences and product comparison
• Respond to text or voice questions
• Personalize or improve the user experience
• Maintain accounts, where applicable
• Provide technical support and respond to enquiries
• Monitor performance and diagnose technical issues
• Improve our products and services
• Protect security and prevent misuse, fraud, or unauthorized activity

We process information based on applicable legal grounds, which may include your consent, performance of a contract, legitimate business interests, and compliance with legal obligations.

Product Conversations and AI-Enabled Features

Some product experiences may allow you to ask questions about a product using text or voice. When you use these features, the content of your question may be processed to understand your request and generate a relevant response.

Depending on the product experience, responses may be based on information provided by the applicable brand, product owner, creator, or other authorized information source.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information in conversational features unless it is necessary for your request. We may use interaction data in aggregated or de-identified form to improve the quality, reliability, and usefulness of our services.

Information Provided by Brands and Product Creators

CUBICVIEWER allows users to access digital experiences associated with products published through the CUBIC ecosystem. Certain product information displayed in CUBICVIEWER may be supplied by participating brands, manufacturers, product owners, retailers, creators, or business partners.

These parties are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the product information they provide. Where a product experience links to or connects with a third-party service, that third party's own privacy policy may apply.

Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?

We do not sell your personal information.

Service Providers

We may use trusted service providers for cloud infrastructure, data storage, App hosting, analytics, customer support, speech processing, AI-enabled functionality, security, and error monitoring. Providers are permitted to process information only as necessary to provide services to us and subject to appropriate safeguards.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, court orders, or legal proceedings; protect our legal rights; investigate suspected fraud or misuse; or protect the safety of users or others.

Business Transfers

How Long Do We Keep Information?

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide CUBICVIEWER and related services, fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, maintain security and prevent abuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, regulatory, or compliance requirements.

When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it until deletion is reasonably possible.

How We Keep Information Safe

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet transmission, mobile application, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You should use CUBICVIEWER within a secure environment and protect access to your device and account.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable data protection law may give you rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, portability where applicable, and the ability to complain to an appropriate data protection authority.

Device Permissions

CUBICVIEWER may request device permissions required for specific App functions, including camera, microphone, notifications, and AR-related capabilities. You can review or change these permissions at any time in your device settings.

Disabling a permission may prevent certain features from functioning, but you may continue using other available parts of the App where possible.

Children's Privacy

CUBICVIEWER is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected without appropriate authorization where such authorization is required, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

International Data Processing

Depending on the services and infrastructure used to provide CUBICVIEWER, information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country in which you reside. Where required by applicable law, we take appropriate measures designed to protect information transferred across borders.

Do-Not-Track and Similar Controls

Some browsers, operating systems, and devices provide privacy controls such as Do-Not-Track signals. Because there is currently no universally accepted standard governing such signals, CUBICVIEWER may not respond to all such mechanisms. Where applicable privacy laws require support for particular privacy preference signals, we will comply with those requirements.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to CUBICVIEWER, new features, changes in our business practices or technology, or legal and regulatory requirements.

The latest version will be identified by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the App, our website, or other appropriate means.
